Experimental Psychology

PSYC 3411

This course is all about understanding the, “Studies have found,” phrase everyone loves to use. This course covers the basic theoretical and methodological approaches used by psychologists to answer questions about human thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.

To get a truly hands on experience, teams of students plan, conduct, and present a completed lab project that addresses a psychological question. This includes reviewing peer-reviewed literature, developing a research question and hypothesis, designing and carrying out a study methodology, and analyzing and discussing their results.
