Collin Scarince, PhD
Principle Investigator
Dr. Scarince is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Sociology at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. His research is broadly concerned with how people use visual information to make decisions and complete tasks, primarily visual search tasks. He is currently working with the Autonomy Research Institute at TAMU-CC to study how cognitive load affects drone pilots and issues related to emergency response operations following hurricanes that involve uncrewed aircraft systems.

Michael is a graduate student in clinical psychology with research interests in suicide prevention, as well as AI. Along with ongoing research projects on cognitive mechanisms of AI, he is currently working as a teaching assistant for Experimental Psychology.

Sarah is a senior at TAMUCC, majoring in psychology. She is interested in the interdisciplinary field of forensic psychology. She plans to work in the mental health field while preparing for graduate school to earn an MA in clinical psychology and further pursuing a PsyD in Forensic Psychology.

Katie is a Senior majoring in Psychology. Her research focuses on identifying and manipulating implicit attitudes, and she is particularly interested in studying elderly individuals. Katie is planning on pursuing a career in clinical psychology with an emphasis in geriatric care.

Juliana is a freshman at TAMUCC majoring in psychology, interested in play therapy. Inspired by her babysitting experience, she aims to help children express themselves and feel understood. To relieve stress, Juliana enjoys creating art, including gem painting, beadwork, and clay projects, blending creativity with care.
