Measuring Help Negation

This study focuses on measuring how people avoid reaching out for help when they are suicidal, at the Department of Psychology & Sociology at TAMUCC.

You do not need to be experiencing suicidal thoughts to participate.

As a participant in this study, you would be asked to:

  1. Complete a basic demographic information questionnaire.

  2. Answer questions about help-seeing behaviors â€‹

The results will help us better understand which groups of people may be less likely to seek help. No identifiers, such as your names or emails, will be collected.

Participation takes about 15 minutes.

Participation in this study is voluntary.

To be eligible for the study you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
